A lip pencil can be a must-have for any red lipstick lover. As a lip smusher, I’m constantly moving my creamier lipsticks and glosses all around my lips and outside the lines, looking like a drunk monkey applied it for me. I like the clear version of lip liners because I’m a bit of a lipstick whore, I can’t pass by a red or nude lippie without a case of the serious wants. I don’t want to have to buy multiple lip liners in various colours. The Make Up For Ever Lip Line Perfector is a clear waxy liner that doesn’t leave a noticeable line or residue and works effectively. This little baby retails on Sephora for $18 US or $20 CA. It keeps my lip product on my lips and I don’t worry about looking like I applied my lipstick in the dark. Be careful when replacing the cap, the tip can be knocked off if you’re too rough and hit the product. I’ve been using this over a month, and I’m thinking this one liner will last me for at least 6 months. Money well spent.

I ordered my memorial dress from Addition Elle, a Canadian shop for us curvier girls. It was $79.99 CA. Our families tend to be more informal, but I considered the fact that the deceased was my mother-in-law. I’ll save the more informal clothing for other memorials. I’m planning on pairing the dress with the Rosemary shoes in black patent that I got from ShoeMint.
I am at a loss at what to do with my hair. I’m a low-maintenance hair kind of person due to inexperience and I am unfamiliar with hair styling beyond a barrette or ponytail. As only children, we have to stand alone next to Lorne, my father-in-law. Joyce was well-known in our community and the mining industry and we’re anticipating a large turnout. My anxiety is climbing. Fine shoulder-length hair is limited in its styling options. Any ideas?
I like the style and colour of this dress. I think the black detail at the waistline would also help diminish my stomach area and add a little more curve to my waist. I’m feeling the effects of eating fast food all week at the hospital. Blech.
Another one on my favourite list.
On another note, my mother-in-law died today, I will be quick posting for a little while.
Eyeshadow Primer Potion by Urban Decay (Official Site).
The creme de la creme of eye primers. My eyeshadow and eyeliner don’t budge all day on my super oily eyelids and remain crease-free and vibrant. I had to order all the colours as soon as I tested the original formula. These are the bomb. I’m in love.
On another note, My mother-in-law was airlifted to a city hospital and we had to come stay in another city. Bear with me please, my husband and I are both only children and we are a very close-knit family. I will be posting regularly.
I use these nightly to remove my makeup. The Pampers Sensitive baby wipes are the gentlest wipes I have found. They remove my all makeup and gently exfoliate my face all in one step. I use the same wipe to remove my eye makeup and mascara and I am not sure if these will remove waterproof mascara, but they do remove my Colourstay foundation. The formula doesn’t completely strip my oily skin or freak it out sensitive-wise and is perfume free and hypoallergenic. I don’t feel a residue on my face after using these and I moisturize directly after without rinsing or using any other products. I do store the container upside down to retain the moisture in the uppermost wipes. All in all, inexpensive and effective comparing to other drugstore brands I have tested.
